Engineer Position

System One is currently seeking an Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN. The Engineer will support hydro plant projects due to internal reorganization. They will work approximately 10 projects per year across 25 hydro facilities (primarily in WI one in MN). The Engineer will develop bid/design specifications, coordinate projects from initiation through closeout, and work with Hydro plant management and contractors. Travel required to hydro sites (seasonal: summer/fall for construction; winter/spring for design/closeout) is 20-30% and mostly during summer/fall seasons.

Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical Controls or Civil/Structural) from ABET accredited university
• Valid Drivers License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• FE/EIT certification preferred
• PE License is a plus
• PMP certification or project management background preferred
• SAP + Scheduling tools preferred
• Minimum of 2 years engineering experience
• Hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred
• Hydro familiarity (6+ months) is a plus
