BAE Systems, one of the world’s largest defense contractors and a Top 10 prime contractor to the Department of Defense, is hiring a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to lead development and production teams focused on Launching Systems products. In this position, you will be supporting the Ordnance Systems, Inc. (OSI) Business at our Radford, VA facility. We work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, and our hybrid approach provides plenty of on-site collaboration and support for new staff onboarding as well as the flexibility for working remotely some days. As an Electrical Engineering Lead for Launching Systems, you will work under general direction of Program Management leading other engineers in the development of missile launching systems and missile canisters. The lead electrical engineer will ensure the thoroughness of the design, ensuring performance to schedule and cost requirements and managing staff assignments.
To be successful as the Launching Systems Electrical Engineering Lead, you will need to have a strong working knowledge and demonstrated performance with launching systems products.
