The Economic Support Supervisor provides administration and program supervision, interpretation and assessment of policies, supervision of assigned staff, management of program budgets and government funds to ensure program compliance, efficiency and effectiveness.
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and five years of full-time experience in child support, public assistance eligibility work or employment services. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Specific responsibilities will vary depending on the area of assignment. The duties include supervising staff, administering assigned programs, and performing other duties as assigned.
Work is sedentary in nature performed within the Government Center or satellite offices. Lifting requirement of 15 - 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Occasional work in the evenings or on Saturdays may be required.
