This position will be responsible for leading and expanding the Commercial Real Estate Advisory Services division of Kraus-Anderson, integrating strategic real estate consulting with commercial construction solutions. This role will focus on converting advisory engagements into full-scale construction projects, when desired by the client, by providing expert guidance in commercial real estate development, construction delivery models, financial structuring, facility planning, and sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, construction management, and strategic planning.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, strategic advisory, or construction consulting.
Proven experience guiding complex real estate decisions from concept through execution, including feasibility, sustainability, and transaction planning.
Demonstrated ability to win advisory business and transition engagements into capital projects or construction delivery.
Experience with facility assessments, asset planning, and strategic advisory for institutional or corporate real estate clients.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, property development, and market analysis.
Expertise in facility assessments, strategic planning, and sustainability initiatives.
Familiarity with construction processes, project management, and contract negotiations.
Proficiency in real estate technology, including reality capture, BIM, and visualization tools.
Exceptional client management and business development skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
Ability to collaborate with construction, design, and engineering teams to align strategies with execution.
Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Master's degree in Real Estate, Business, or Construction Management.
Experience working with institutional investors, corporate real estate teams, and developers.
Other:
Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy.
Travel: This position requires approximately 25% travel, primarily within the Twin Cities metro and surrounding regions, with occasional travel to national client locations and industry conferences.

For Field/Jobsite Requirements:
Salary Range: $185,000-$205,000 annually, plus auto allowance and discretionary incentive program. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
