Oversees all production activities within the Rise work area at nVent, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to output standards. Provides support and coverage for other Rise team members working at the site.
Key Expectations
Act as the primary Rise contact for production-related activities for nVent, including attending production-related meetings and acting as secondary float when needed. Maintain the production schedule on a daily basis. Organize the production area based on daily schedule. Anticipate changes in production line and schedule accordingly. Able to set up and tear down production lines efficiently. Demonstrate teamwork and provide direction to DSP's as needed. Maintain quality standards daily. Ensure production demands are being met. Learn customer systems and complete reporting on Rise jobs to customer. Oversee quality in the "Rise-Kitting" production area and address discrepancies. Complete random quality checks/monitoring throughout the day to ensure quality standards are being met. Help with inventory counts and adjustments for accurate inventories. Continually search for ways to improve quality and efficiency. Review and approve person served payroll. Record daily attendance for program billing. Comply with Rise and nVent policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members and persons served.

Hours of Work: Hours of work are typically daytime, Monday through Friday. Travel: Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the day, in the Twin Cities area. Work Environment: This job operates in a variety of environments including Rise's office environment and production floor. The noise is moderately loud when on the production floor. Physical Demands: The team member frequently is required to twist, stoop, bend, reach, pull, push, stand, sit and walk for up to eight hours per day. Able to lift and transfer people, with varying weights (50-75 pounds).
