This position exists to process incoming and outgoing facility and offender mail, correspondence, and packages; document a wide variety of legal and financial transactions for institution staff and the incarcerated population and assists with ordering, stocking, maintaining, and issuing materials and supplies. This position provides work direction and technical assistance to other staff. All responsibilities must be performed according to established DOC policy and procedures and U.S. Postal regulations, with a major emphasis on security to ensure that no contraband or unauthorized mail or items enters or leaves the facility through the mail. The position works within a Minnesota Correctional Facility – MCF Rush City.
