This is a temporary position. Candidates must be able to work with a start date of either May 25, 2026 or June 1, 2026 through 10-12 weeks of temporary summer employment.

Central Service – Deliver medical equipment and supplies to various nursing units and departments within the hospital. Pick up soiled equipment from nursing floors and return them to the decontamination area. Clean and disinfect IV pumps and other equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts.
• The occasional pushing/lifting of up to 46 pounds.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.

Exemption Status: Nonexempt

Compensation Detail: Compensation is $21.12/hour based upon union contract

Schedule: Full Time

Hours/Pay Period: 80

Schedule Details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, some weekends

Weekend Schedule: 1 of 5 weekends
