The Sr. Electrical Engineer researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates FPGA blocks for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
• Determines design approaches and parameters.
• Simulates and or verifies FPGA designs to ensure proper functionality.
• Supports implementation of FPGA designs including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
• Analyzes design to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
• Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• May also review vendor capability to support product development.
Required:
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 6-10 years experience
• Experience designing Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), digital design of Integrated Circuits (IC), or Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC).
