We are seeking a dedicated field service technician skilled in MIG wire feed welding to work on galvanized steel hollow metal door frames. The role involves fieldwork, welding on doors and hinges, upgrading and installing new systems, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing ones. Candidates will handle 3-5 jobs per day across various client scopes including schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants. This position requires a customer-service mindset, with opportunities for experienced individuals to advance internally.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG wire feed welding on galvanized steel hollow metal door frames.
• Work on doors and hinges in the field, ensuring high-quality installations and upgrades.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing systems as required.
• Handle 3-5 jobs per day, demonstrating efficiency and expertise.
• Engage with clients across schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the welding and installation process.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7AM to 3:30PM, with a workweek of 40-45 hours. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on our close-knit team where the owner knows everyone. The role involves field service work, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
