Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel frequently within the Midwest region. (Minnesota, Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin) Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.

Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of generator systems, backup power solutions, or industrial service sales is highly preferred. Oracle NetSuite is a plus.

Job Description: Service Sales Representative – Power Generation Location: Champlin, MN 55316 Hiring Basis: Direct hire Base Salary: 65-75k base plus Commission: Uncapped earning potential based on service sales performance. Total Compensation: Strong performers can exceed base through commissions. THE OPPORTUNITY Lotus Technical has a direct hire role for a Service Sales Representative – Power Generation for a power generation company located in Champlin, MN. Seeking a high-performing Service Sales Representative with experience or interest in the power generation / generator services industry. This role focuses on driving service sales growth across a defined Midwest territory, supporting customers with critical backup power solutions including maintenance agreements, repairs, and emergency service. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint in generator service contracts, developing new business, and strengthening relationships with existing customers across industries such as healthcare, data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial properties. Must have a willingness to travel frequently within the Midwest region. (Minnesota, Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin). Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive service sales growth for generator maintenance agreements, inspections, repairs, and emergency service offerings. Manage and expand existing customer accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across the Midwest territory. Identify opportunities to increase service penetration, including preventative maintenance contracts, load bank testing, fuel polishing, and upgrades. Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow revenue, improve margins, and increase market share in the generator service sector. Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements; negotiate terms in alignment with company policies. Build strong relationships with facility managers, engineers, contractors, and key decision-makers. Act as the primary liaison between customers and service/technical teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Service Management and technicians to ensure timely completion of service work and adherence to customer expectations. Respond to customer inquiries and service issues quickly, ensuring minimal downtime for critical power systems. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and pipeline reporting. Identify market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for business expansion within the territory.
