Sinch is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Emergency Services team. This is a critical role where you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our 911 applications, which are a vital part of our commitment to public safety. We are seeking an exceptional software engineer who can lead the development of complex features in our microservices suite of applications. An experienced software engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience delivering mission-critical services in a SaaS or PaaS environment. Proficient in Java 17+ / Kotlin. Comfortable working with Python. Experienced with Spring Boot 3+. Experienced with MongoDB or MongoDB Atlas. Experienced with developing apps designed to run in OpenShift/Kubernetes and comfortable with defining and creating Kubernetes Resources during development. Knowledgeable about developing server and client AI tools. Familiar with Datadog or Grafana for monitoring and observability. Comfortable parsing RFCs and other technical standards documents to derive software requirements. Proficient with Git (Github, Bitbucket, etc.) and experienced with Agile methodologies (Scrum, LeSS, etc.). A strong problem-solver who is comfortable with learning new technologies. A college degree is not required, but relevant industry experience is a must. This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; San Antonio, TX.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $133,000 - $167,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
