Position Summary: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will perform analyses, resolve issues using problem solving techniques to execute mechanical or electromechanical solutions for components, and support the feasibility, design, and development of new and innovative products or solutions for our Customers. This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Plymouth, MN location, 4 days per week.

Required: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related Engineering degree Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience Experience with design controls (process) in a highly regulated industry Demonstrated experience in a variety of materials, technologies and manufacturing methods, such as: * Metals, plastics, rubber composites * Bearings, hydraulics, seals, optics *Welding, machining, forming, casting, molding Expertise in 3D CAD Modeling (PRO/E preferred)
Preferred: Experience solving complex engineering problems through accurate interpretation of requirements and test results Strong communication Prior experience working in a team Graduate coursework desirable Experience with Lean Six Sigma / (DFMA) Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Serviceability is desirable Experience with design controls (process) in a highly regulated industry; medical preferred

Pay range for this opportunity is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
