Senior Engineer

Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our Duluth, MN office. Responsibilities include preparing proposals for moderate to complex projects, developing and executing whole scopes, reviewing engineering work of others, performing engineering analysis, making geotechnical recommendations, and preparing engineering reports for senior review. The candidate should understand and manage the needs of clients through communications and proposal/project work, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. They should also perform routine aspects of civil engineering assignments, coordinate project assignments, review drawings, identify complex problems/possible solutions, manage project teams, oversee and train technical practices, supervise and mentor junior staff, compile engineering calculations, prepare field reports, and work within established procedures and protocols. The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a BS in civil or geotechnical engineering (MS in geotechnical engineering or structural engineering preferred), 9+ years' experience, PE Certification, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking or hearing, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, smelling, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and moving more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision. The work environment is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and moderate to loud noise levels on job sites.

Compensation range: $108,000.00 - $162,000.00
