Sales Strategy Specialist
By turning data into direction, the Sales Strategy Specialist digs into sales performance, market trends, and pipeline insights to craft strategies that fuel revenue growth. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership, this role sharpens sales processes, sets quotas, and optimizes go-to-market strategies, bridging high-level business goals with daily sales operations exhibited within the field.
You will:
- Data Analysis & Reporting. Review sales KPIs, identify performance gaps, and create actionable insights to improve conversion rates and sales cycle velocity.
- Strategy Development. Create data-driven go-to-market plans, including market segmentation, territory planning, and sales campaigns.
- Process Optimization. Design and refine sales workflows, methodologies, and tools to maximize operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with Marketing, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Sales leadership to align messaging and tools.
- Performance Tracking. Monitor actual results against forecasts and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Typical/expected % of overnight travel. Quarterly travel expected.
You have:
- Experience. Requires 2-5+ years in sales ops, sales strategy, or management consulting, depending on seniority.
- Technical Skills. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel).
- Analytical Skills. Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and interpret trends. Preferred experience with GitLab.
- Strategic Thinking. Ability to map high-level business objectives to actionable sales tactics.
- Great Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written skills to present insights and recommendations to decision-makers.
