The General Industrial Division Sales Representative focuses on driving sales growth within a defined territory by achieving or exceeding sales targets, increasing gallon growth, and expanding opportunity account sales. Responsibilities include achieving or exceeding sales budget, increasing gallon growth and growing opportunity account sales, collecting reliable customer/territory information and estimating individual customer potential, conducting competitive product testing and comparisons to identify current competitors' strengths and weaknesses and S-W's competitive advantage, developing a strategy to sell target customers and identifying items or product categories that require specific attention in support of this strategy, conducting product demos to support the selling process, accessing product/technical information to support customers' application requirements, identifying sources of sales leads and following through on leads provided by store/facility personnel as appropriate, understanding servicing store/facility's strengths and weaknesses and communicating effectively with staff members to ensure that commitments made are within the store's capabilities. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Minimum Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Qualifications 1+ years business to business sales experience.
