This posting will be used to fill four (4) identical positions.
These positions are eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. Flexible work hours may be permitted with supervisor approval.
The Recovery Residence Certification Specialist implements Minnesota's Recovery Residence Certification Program by conducting certification reviews, on-site inspections, complaint investigations, and ongoing compliance monitoring. The position ensures recovery residences meet statutory, safety, and quality standards and supports the oversight of the recovery housing system. The Specialist collaborates with internal and external partners to promote consistent, equitable, and recovery-oriented certification practices statewide.

Minimum Qualifications
There are three (3) different ways to qualify for this position, and you must have the required work experience:
One (1) year of advanced-level working experience in regulatory oversight, program certification, compliance monitoring, or licensing within a human services, behavioral health, or residential/housing program along with the required work experiences listed below.
OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, human services, social work, or another closely related degree.
AND
Two (2) years of working experience providing technical support duties in regulatory oversight, program certification, compliance monitoring, or licensing within a human services, behavioral health, or residential/housing program along with the required work experiences listed below.
OR
Three (3) years of working experience providing technical support duties in regulatory oversight, program certification, compliance monitoring, or licensing within a human services, behavioral health, or residential/housing program along with the required work experiences listed below.
