As a Quality Engineering Intern, your role is critical in ensuring patient safety and quality of care. The Post Market Quality Engineering team uses product performance data and deep dive analysis to understand if products are performing as intended. You will build relationships with professionals in a diverse range of fields, inspiring people to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Act as an effective leader or team member in supporting the investigation and monitoring of BSC product performance. Analyze post market surveillance data for patterns and trends and investigating when necessary. Collaborate and gain experience from a diverse cross-functional team. Gain better understanding by applying academic knowledge to a real-world problem. Improve patient lives around the world every day. Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) such as developing and/or driving internal process improvements allowing cost savings for Boston Scientific. Participate in new analytical tools and harmonization of post-market trending and analysis.
Must graduate between fall 2026 and spring 2027 Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Statistics. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th - August 7th OR May 26th - August 14th Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills Boston Scientific Corporate location
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
