Manufacturing Engineering Intern- MPC
Support launch of new manufacturing processes and tooling. Other potential activities (bandwidth permitting) include process documentation, tooling assembly/rebuilds, routing updates, time studies for costed routings and project cost justifications, migration of paper documentation to electronic platform (work instructions, PFMEA), and other manufacturing engineering support tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Familiarity with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) - entry level (2D prints and 3D modeling- GD & T knowledge a +)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical aptitude
- Familiarity with hand and shop tools and their use
- Previous molding experience preferred, not required
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college/technical program majors: Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent GPA of 3.0 or higher
Pay Range: $19-$20
