The IT Operations (IT Ops) internship is a dynamic opportunity for students and emerging professionals eager to explore the backbone of enterprise technology. Participants gain practical experience by supporting critical IT infrastructure, monitoring system health, and assisting with issue resolution across networks, servers, and cloud environments. Each day brings new challenges, offering interns invaluable insight into the foundational elements that keep organizations running smoothly.

Throughout the program, interns work closely with seasoned IT professionals, learning best practices in system administration, cybersecurity, and service management. The internship emphasizes hands-on involvement in real-world projects, exposure to troubleshooting processes, and collaboration within cross-functional teams. Mentorship, skill-building workshops, and professional networking events are all integral parts of the experience, ensuring that every intern leaves the program more confident and better prepared for a career in IT operations.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Master's program at an accredited University pursuing a degree in: Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Intern level professional with 0-6 months of relevant project or working experience.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration
• Familiar with Service Now or similar platform
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Remote based in or driving distance of a local office: Denver, CO; St Petersburg, FL; NY, NY; Plymouth Meeting, PA; Overland Park, KS; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA
• Interest in pursuing a career in IT operations or technology

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$22.50 - $25.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
