Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic partner. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-shift operation and enjoys being a visible, trusted presence both on the floor and in the office.

You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, guiding leadership, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements and customer-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, especially the General Manager
  • Manage employee relations with consistency, fairness, and empathy
  • Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to supervisors and managers
  • Support and reinforce health and safety policies and initiatives
  • Monitor and ensure accurate employee timekeeping and attendance compliance
  • Partner with payroll by providing accurate timekeeping-related information
  • Assist with onboarding, including system setup and employee integration
  • Support and track training programs, ensuring compliance and documentation
  • Participate in interviews and help address staffing needs and gaps
  • Communicate workforce planning needs across shifts to leadership
  • Coach and cross-train supervisors to strengthen leadership effectiveness
  • Manage leaves, schedules, and benefits in a high-volume environment
  • Handle sensitive employee and manager conversations with professionalism and confidence
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and records

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with strong partnership to operations leadership
  • Proven ability to influence and coach supervisors and managers
  • Experience in employee relations within a high-volume or multi-shift environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and practical application
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
