Medical Assembler
This role focuses on assembling precision medical devices in a full cleanroom environment using hand tools and microscopes. You will work with very small components, follow detailed procedures, and rotate through different workstations to support the production of life-saving medical products.
Responsibilities
- Assemble various medical devices all day using hand tools, blades, cutters, and other small instruments.
- Perform detailed assembly work under a microscope, consistently handling very small components and parts.
- Work in a full cleanroom environment and follow all cleanliness and gowning procedures at all times.
- Cross-train and work at different assembly stations as needed to support production demands.
- Use rulers and calipers to understand and verify measurements during assembly tasks.
- Inspect parts and assemblies visually and under magnification to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow documented processes and work instructions accurately.
- Communicate clearly with team members and leads using good verbal and written communication skills.
- Lift and move materials and components weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work overtime when required to meet production schedules and customer needs.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 6+ months of experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing or assembly.
- Strong hand dexterity and ability to maneuver very small components and parts with precision.
- Ability to assemble parts under a microscope for extended periods.
- Comfort working in a full cleanroom environment with strict procedures and protocols.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and work with measurements using rulers and calipers.
- Capability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and maintain a tidy work area.
- Ability to learn potentially complex and detailed processes quickly.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous medical device assembly experience is highly preferred.
- Other assembly or manufacturing experience with a stable work history is a strong plus.
- Experience working with catheters or similar small medical components is beneficial.
- In microscope-based work, inspection, or cleanroom assembly is an advantage.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
