This Opportunity:

• Join a collaborative, close-knit team working on municipal roadway and utility projects both on construction sites and in the office.
• Support field staff by assisting with on-site construction observation, construction surveying, and staking.
• Assist project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks, while maintaining effective communication with staff, contractors, and clients.
• Accurately draft project information using AutoCAD and related software.

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying, or a related field.
• Ability to travel for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, and other project needs.
• Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able and willing to report to the Virginia, MN office daily.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with basic AutoCAD tasks through coursework or prior employment.
• Has begun foundational engineering coursework in the major.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $21 and $24 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
