The Application Engineer role will provide technical assistance to all levels of employees, working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team with great personalities, which fosters an opportunity for professional growth. Responsibilities include maintaining and recording end user-support tickets, documenting problems and remedial actions, analyzing user requirements to improve existing processes, developing technical manuals, conducting computer diagnostics, testing programs, and coordinating solutions as part of a project team. Application & Technical Support Experience - Demonstrated experience providing hands-on support for business-critical applications, including troubleshooting incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and resolving user-reported issues in a production environment. Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and following ITIL-based support processes. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, QA) to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Application Development / Systems Integration Exposure - Practical understanding of application development concepts, software deployment processes, and system integration workflows. Experience supporting or working with APIs, middleware, SQL databases, or enterprise application platforms. Ability to interpret application logs, investigate integration failures, and assist with patching, configuration changes, and release activities.
Scripting & Automation Capabilities - Hands-on experience writing or modifying scripts using languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, and Batch to automate routine tasks, streamline application operations, or enhance system monitoring. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts to improve performance or reliability. Exposure to automation tools or monitoring platforms (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds) is a plus.
Nice to Have: Basic SQL proficiency for querying logs or validating data. Understanding of Windows-based environments, IIS, or Active Directory. Experience with code deployments or release coordination (junior DevOps exposure). Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
