The Facilities Support Technician is an entry-level position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Milton Academy's facilities department and services to the campus. This position is responsible for providing mailroom support, assisting with moving, deliveries, and event setups across campus, accompanying vendors, trades or grounds crew members to assist with various tasks, and providing various forms of administrative support for facilities services. The technician helps ensure an organized, efficient, and safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The individual must understand how to collaborate and communicate well with others, have strong organizational and computer skills, and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. All training related to the department's systems and basic maintenance activities will be provided; as such, the successful candidate must have an interest in acquiring new skills, attending training, and taking direction.

Education/Licensure/Certification
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must possess a valid driver's license, pass an insurance and driver's record check annually and be able to drive a vehicle for Milton Academy in accordance with the School's policies and procedures
Preferred: Associate's degree, some college, or other certification(s) that demonstrate an interest in learning new skills.
Experience
Required: Previous experience working, volunteering, or serving others in a customer service-oriented manner
Preferred: Previous experience working in a mailroom, delivery, or grounds role
