Merchant Support Specialist

The Merchant Support Specialist is responsible for providing assistance on technical issues for our clients utilizing MeevoPay, Meevo's credit card processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to clients transitioning from third-party vendors to MeevoPay.
  • Assist with related merchant inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
  • Address and resolve inbound client inquiries and issues via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
  • Utilizing Salesforce to manage and create new tickets for all incoming inquiries. Accurately enter client details into database. Update existing tickets when applicable.
  • Understand and provide guidance on clients' technical issues using problem solving.
  • Document solutions in Salesforce and provide dependable and timely resolutions to clients.
  • Provide timely follow-up to resolve client inquiries.
  • Handle client complaints respectfully and professionally.
  • Work with colleagues and other departments to provide superior customer service.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in electronic payment processing customer support role with knowledge of payment processing systems and technologies.
  • Previous experience providing support remotely via phone.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to address difficult or complex customer scenarios with professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask.
