Job Overview

Job Description: Senior Optimizely /.NET Developer

Location: Cochin / Bangalore

Experience: 7–8 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Optimizely Developer with a strong .NET background to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade digital experiences using Optimizely CMS (EPiServer). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering scalable, content-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Optimizely CMS (v11/v12) and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• Create and manage content types, blocks, pages, and templates following Optimizely best practices
• Implement personalization and visitor group features to enhance user experience
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Work with UX, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
• Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and guide junior team members
• Optimize application performance, security, and SEO
• Support deployments, production issues, and ongoing enhancements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–8 years of overall experience in .NET web application development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS (EPiServer)
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core Entity Framework / EF Core HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with Optimizely DXP and cloud-based deployments
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design
• Understanding of SOLID principles, MVC architecture, and design patterns
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Proficiency with Git / TFS and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)

Good to Have

• Experience with Optimizely Commerce
• Exposure to Headless CMS and Content APIs
• Knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Storage, Azure SQL)
• Frontend framework experience (React / Angular – basic to intermediate)
• Optimizely or Microsoft Azure certifications
