Service Advisor/Service Writer

Join the team at BMW of Silver Spring, where excellence meets opportunity! We are currently looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor/Service Writer to join our busy and dynamic automotive Service Department.

As a Service Advisor/Service Writer, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will greet customers, listen to their concerns, and consult with them on their vehicle service needs. Your ability to communicate clearly and provide outstanding customer service will be essential to ensuring an exceptional experience every time.

Prior 3-5 years of dealership Service Writer experience required.

Service Advisor Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to include vehicle service care and manufacturer's warranty specifications - Schedule and manage service appointments and service estimates - Address and resolve customer complaints

Service Advisor Qualifications: - 3-5 years prior experience in automotive dealership service writing experience

- High line/German car experience preferred - Working knowledge of basic car functions, characteristics, and operations - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

- Valid driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations last 3 years - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
