About the Role
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Marketing to lead MiiR's integrated marketing and help fuel our next stage of growth. In this role, you'll partner with our President & CGO and collaborate closely with Sales, Brand, and Product to shape annual marketing plans, bring new products to market, and tell our story across PR, social, and digital channels.
The ideal candidate thrives in consumer packaged goods (CPG), with a track record of building effective go-to-market strategies and balancing big-picture vision with tactical execution. You'll guide everything from competitor insights and partnerships to PR, social, digital, and performance marketing; ensuring that MiiR's story is consistent, creative, and customer-centered. Most importantly, you're a collaborative, team-focused leader who knows how to build consensus and turn ideas into measurable impact.

Brand & Communications
- Partner with the Brand team to protect and evolve MiiR's voice, narrative, and creative identity.
- Oversee PR strategy, press releases, and media outreach to strengthen MiiR's visibility.
- Ensure channel-specific copywriting (email, paid ads, CRM, blog, social) stays consistent with overall brand tone.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Lead social media strategy and content calendar, including influencer/ambassador partnerships.
- Analyze social and campaign metrics to refine digital engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with performance marketing on paid media strategy (SEM, display, paid social).
Go-to-Market & Customer Engagement
- Own GTM briefs and execution for new product launches and seasonal campaigns, ensuring clarity and timeliness across all deliverables.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform product launches, campaign design, and channel strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Brand, and Product on positioning, storytelling, and feature/benefit copy.
- Partner with Sales and Brand on trade shows, retail activations, and customer experiences (~10% travel).
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build strong cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, and Creative to ensure marketing supports both product launches and sales enablement.
- Mentor and manage marketing team members, agency partners, and contractors. Source, vet, and manage agencies, freelancers, and vendor partnerships to extend team capacity.
- Act as a consensus builder who balances creativity, performance, and impact.
- Bring forward insights and recommendations that help leadership make data-informed decisions.
