As an Engineering Manager at Midas, you will be expected to ensure the successful execution of technical projects, foster a collaborative culture, and drive continuous improvement in both the team's technical abilities and product outcomes. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of high-quality products on time, fostering a positive engineering culture, and empowering your team to reach their full potential.

What You'll Do:

• Manage engineering teams to design scalable and robust systems across critical data infrastructure.
• Build and grow a team of talented software engineers and technical leaders within the Datastore and Reliability domain.
• Work with product teams to deliver maximum customer value and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end delivery, including performance monitoring and incident management in production environments.
• Foster a supportive team environment by understanding individual motivations, promoting collaboration, and guiding growth.
• Lead the operation and continuous improvement of PostgreSQL, Redis, and MSSQL systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and strong reliability practices.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience solving large-scale problems for millions of users through scalable and reliable systems.
• At least 2 years of technical leadership and people management experience in cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within large and complex technical ecosystems, with strong database management expertise.
• Ability to navigate technical and organizational dependencies, balancing trade-offs with partner teams.
• Proven expertise in data infrastructure and production reliability, specifically with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and various NoSQL technologies.
