Are you passionate about building intelligent, scalable services that redefine how people manage their time and collaborate in a hybrid work environment? Join the Calendar team within Microsoft’s Time + Places organization, where we are reimagining when, where, and how work happens. Our mission is to create a thriving world by reducing cognitive overload and delivering intelligent, meaningful innovation that empowers individuals and organizations to succeed in the hybrid work era.
As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation scheduling platform, integrating deeply with substrate APIs, Copilot experiences, and other Outlook services. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical backend services that support millions of users daily, while also shaping the future of hybrid work through AI-powered scheduling, asynchronous collaboration, and location-aware coordination. You’ll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and user impact—building services that help people reclaim their time, connect meaningfully, and achieve more together.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
