Software Engineer II

The AI ERP Frontline team is hiring a Software Engineer II to help build the Scheduling Agent service, a key initiative aimed at automating two-thirds of field service scheduling by 2026. In this role, you’ll develop and support a global-scale services stack that integrates advanced AI large language models and scheduling algorithms to automate the work schedules of thousands of frontline workers. You’ll work with technologies like Kubernetes, .NET, Azure, as well as LLMs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft. The services you develop will connect to Microsoft Dataverse to support a range of Dynamics products.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer II who is not only passionate about service development but also fluent in the evolving landscape of LLMs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building LLM based features at scale, and using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM-based development accelerators to enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation. You should be comfortable experimenting with new AI capabilities, integrating them into products and development workflows, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Our mission is to digitize the frontline workforce by delivering the leading AI-powered application portfolio for managing and scheduling work. We prioritize delivering maximum product value to a rapidly growing global market of frontline workers, and we believe that exceptional software is built in high-functioning, high-trust, and high-fun team environments. If you're excited about service development and excited to build impactful solutions with cutting-edge AI, we’d love to have you on the team.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
