At Microsoft, the Hosted Service Team designs, maintains, automates, and secures internal Source Code services used by thousands of developers across the globe. You’ll be joining a team that builds secure, compliant, and scalable systems that directly impact how software is developed company-wide. Your work will help create environments that developers trust and rely on every day. Our team is also deeply involved in standing up new AI-related services across Microsoft, including the MCP Registry, a foundational protocol for AI agent orchestration, and the enterprise deployment of LLM Model repository for secure model hosting and consumption. These efforts position us at the center of Microsoft’s agentic ecosystem, enabling developers to build intelligent applications with cutting-edge tools.

As a Software Engineer on the Hosted Service Team, you’ll deliver ready-to-code environments enhanced with AI capabilities to streamline engineering workflows and improve security posture. You’ll work on services that support product development best practices, tackle complex technical challenges, and collaborate across teams to solve problems on a scale.
