The Workload Management (WLM) team under M365 is responsible for managing execution of millions of background and system tasks for M365 and Copilot users. We are applying various technologies to maximize resource utilization while ensuring end user experiences are not impacted by keeping the giant system running in a stable and efficient way. We are driving continuous improvement towards integrated and intelligent automated operations.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements which may be used in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related computer programs. This opportunity will allow you to develop software, AI/LLM tools and code to be used in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms as well as commercial or end-user applications. You will use current programming language and technologies to write code, perform testing and debug any issues with robust documentation, procedures for deployment and processes for maintenance.
