Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture.

At the Fabric Telemetry Data Platform team, we are building a next-generation data platform to revolutionize how data engineers and partner teams work. Our platform is designed to be highly scalable, resilient, and automated, supporting high-performance querying and self-service capabilities for partner teams. Our goal is to enhance the productivity of data engineers, streamline metric development, and enable robust data monitoring.

As a Senior Data Engineer on our team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our next-generation data platform. Using the latest Azure technologies, you will design and build scalable data pipelines, develop tools for metadata management, and create job monitoring and notification services. You will also optimize data processing and storage, implement automated anomaly detection, and streamline daily operations through automation. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive best practices in data engineering.
