Sr. Application Engineer -- ServiceNow

Rocket Limited Partnership has multiple openings for the position of Sr. Application Engineer -- ServiceNow. Work Location: 1050 Woodward Ave. Detroit, MI 48226. Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and implement changes to the ServiceNow software application.
• Implement, configure, and reconcile multi-user systems.
• Improve and automate software application processes.
• Maintain integrity and functionality of the software application.
• Analyze, evaluate, and propose software application changes to business owners and application users.
• Monitor software application resources and performance.
• Attend to application performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Perform application maintenance, including any fixes and upgrades.
• Document changes, standards, and issues.
• Design, develop and implement application information security architecture.
• Perform final review and sign off for code reviews, function tests, and unit tests.
• Serve as SME for escalation and resolution of complex application issues.

Requirements:

This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including ServiceNow Developer, ServiceNow Administrator, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with the following tools/technologies/skills: using.Net, C#, Visual Basic, or PowerShell to support ServiceNow applications; requirements gathering & creating functional & technical design documents; configuring & implementing ServiceNow security features; identifying data sources & translating data models from source systems into ServiceNow; and integrating ServiceNow with SOAP & REST based web services. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
