Service Technician -- Fast (Flexible Automation System Technology)

AtomTech is seeking a motivated and hands-on Service Technician to support our FAST (Flexible Automation System Technology) program. This role will focus on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) systems, as well as general service technician responsibilities across automation projects. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to work in dynamic project environments, and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Service Technician will work closely with engineering, project management, and field service teams to ensure successful system deployment and ongoing support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
• Flexible schedule availability (including overtime and weekends as needed)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience in automation systems
• Experience with AGV and/or AMR technologies
• CAD experience
• Mechanical, electrical, or robotics experience

Required Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and startup of AGV and AMR systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on automation equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic control system issues
• Support system testing, validation, and performance optimization
• Assist with layout adjustments, route mapping, and basic system configuration
