Service Technician

Location: Ypsilanti, MI | Onsite

Job Type: Direct Hire

Key Skills:

  • 1-2 years experience servicing and repairing fire and security systems
  • Fire alarm repair and service experience required
  • Ability to document records and reports of assessments and audits of systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the service of security and fire systems hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in creating documentation and reports for security assessments and audits.
  • Accurately maintain inventory records for all hardware.
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to support requests promptly and professionally, ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Performance Objectives:

  • Complete assigned training modules and certifications within specified timelines.
  • Deliver quality service and support that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Maintain timely and accurate service documentation.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 3+ years of experience in a service role supporting fire systems, security systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Experience servicing Kidde, DMP, Digital Watchdog, Notifier, and AiPhone preferred.
