Job Summary

Mid State Oil Tools is seeking dependable and hardworking Service Rig Hands with valid Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs) to join our oilfield crew. This position involves general labor on the rig site, including setup, maintenance, and operation of service rig equipment, as well as transporting equipment and materials. A CDL is required to haul rig components and support logistics operations safely and legally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, teardown, and maintenance of Service rigs and equipment
• Load, secure, and transport rig equipment and materials using CDL-class vehicles
• Operate forklifts, winches, and other rig-related tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and around the rig
• Follow safety procedures and participate in regular safety meetings
• Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
• Monitor equipment and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
• Support drillers and other crew members as needed

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL -- Class A With Air Brake, Standard Transmission) with good driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Previous experience working on Service Rigs or oilfield operations preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in physically demanding conditions
• Ability to work long hours, overtime, and rotational shifts (including nights and weekends) preferred
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50--100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
• Forklift or heavy equipment operation experience preferred

Remote rig site locations; must be comfortable with travel and extended stays
