As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer, you will represent Ford Motor Company at supplier manufacturing facilities, traveling up to 80% of the time. You will take a leadership role inside Ford and with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality and capacity. You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of Ford Motor Company and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant.
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems/Processes (ex. IATF), Continuous Improvement, or Lean in a manufacturing environment. Experience Preferred: Preferred manufacturing processes include: Molding, Coating/Painting, Assembly, etc Preferred commodity experience includes any one of the following: Exterior Lighting (ex. Headlamps, Taillamps), Mechanisms (ex. Latches), Glass (ex.
