Quality Engineer

Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer

As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer you will represent the company at supplier manufacturing facilities, traveling up to 80% of the time. You will take a leadership role inside with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality and capacity. You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of the company and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant. Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems/Processes (ex. IATF), Continuous Improvement, or Lean in a manufacturing environment. Experience Preferred: Preferred manufacturing processes include: Molding, Coating/Painting, Assembly, etc. Preferred commodity experience includes any one of the following: Exterior Lighting (ex. Headlamps, Taillamps), Mechanisms (ex. Latches), Glass (ex. Windshield), Moon Roofs, etc. Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements: Detailed Job Description available upon request. HYBRID: Monday and Friday – WFH. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – Onsite at PDC. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $42.30 - $46.00/hr.
