Process Engineer

Job Title

This engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the process and capabilities are running smoothly. This engineer will be on the plant floor making sure that the project is on target and verifying that the parts they are creating are quality parts. They will be responsible for communicating effectively with suppliers and OEMs on where they are having issues and process improvement.

Compensation: $50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and process engineering
• Hands on manufacturing engineering experience
• Process capability experience. Can take data, provide capability analysis and capability studies.
• Experience with gauging equipment
• Has some knowledge of quality: in-process drawings, Minitab etc.
• Working knowledge of GD&T reading engineering drawings
• Familiarity of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
