The Center for Academic Innovation at the University of Michigan is seeking a qualified Marketing CRM Specialist Senior to lead the design, build, analysis, and improvement of the Market and Market Strategy team's marketing campaigns within Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. The Marketing CRM Specialist Senior will work in collaboration with marketing specialists, designers, and developers within CAI, and with technical roles within the university's Salesforce Center for Excellence. Main responsibilities will include building email campaigns, personalizing customer journeys, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign effectiveness.
The Marketing and Market Strategy team works with all the center's teams to help enhance the center's awareness and reputation, and generate enrollment in its learning opportunities.
Digital Marketing
Salesforce & Marketing Cloud Administration
Talent for interpreting data and making informed, data-driven decisions. Collaborative and team-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Adaptable to change and eager to learn emerging digital marketing best practices. Detail-oriented and self-driven with strong project management skills. At least 5 years of professional experience in CRM implementation and administration, email journeys and marketing, or a combination of education and experience. At least 2 years experience within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Prefer experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Education Cloud, or any combination thereof, for customer acquisition or enrollment and events use cases.

This is a 5 year term limited position with the possibility of renewal depending on funding. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. The mode of work for this position is Hybrid with a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, Monday through Thursday, with an option of remote work on Fridays. On occasion, you may be required and must be available to work onsite on Fridays if necessitated by our center's policy and domain leadership or by your job requirements.
The general salary range for this position is $82,000 - $88,000. Candidates can expect to be paid a competitive and equitable salary. Factors used to determine salary include education level, experience, knowledge and skills for the position and salaries that are currently established within the unit. All candidates are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
