Welk-Ko Fabricators, Inc. hires Manufacturing Engineer in Livonia, MI. Job duties include directing the design, development, and improvement of the sheet metal manufacturing process, creating models for parts and assemblies using MultiPunch PC by Strippit LVD, Cimatron, AutoCad, and SolidWorks, supporting the purchase and installation of new equipment, ensuring that manufacturing has accurate and detailed information on specifications to produce the part, developing detailed, pre-planned job estimates by defining the sequence, operations, setup, and cycle time requirements, tracking performance metrics and leading efficiency improvement efforts, and determining preventative maintenance activities and schedules for the equipment.
