IT Support Technician (Entry Level)

We're looking for an entry-level Support Technician who has at least 6 months of technical support experience. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, eager to learn, and ready to grow in the IT field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to: Windows OS and basic Mac support, password resets, account lockouts, MFA, printers, network connectivity, and common desktop software.
  • Accurately log, track, and document support requests.
  • Escalate more complex issues to Tier 2 support when needed.
  • Follow standardized processes, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting scripts.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of IT support experience (help desk, service desk, technical support, internships or similar).
  • Basic understanding of: Microsoft Windows, Office 365 applications, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • A+ Certification or equivalent (CompTIA A+, Net+, or similar).
  • Experience with a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or Azure AD.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
