Our client is currently seeking a qualified IT Lab Support Analyst to join their team onsite in Kalamazoo, MI and provide end-user support. This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong acumen in computer hardware and a variety of laboratory software packages to join the Laboratory Instrument Support Team as a Lab side Computing Analyst. In a highly complex R&D environment, this role would support the work of the scientists and other technical staff by providing computer hardware and software support. The hardware and software needs are ever-evolving in biopharmaceutical R&D, which necessitates the application of dedicated computing resources focused on lab-based computers and software. The ideal candidate would possess a strong understanding of desktop computer infrastructure, and the ability to adapt the infrastructure based on both the corporate standards and the situational needs of each instrument/software application. This role would also require diverse experience in instrument control software, which can be applied situationally to learn and support new applications. This role will work with minimum supervision on multiple equipment support tasks including but not limited to: building/modifying desktop computers to support the needs of the scientists and their lab instruments, working with and learning a wide range of software packages that support instrument control, data acquisition, data processing and data archival, and working with vendors on-site and remotely to support instrument installation and troubleshooting.

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $26.25 - $38.50 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
