Intake/Emergency Services Clinical Specialist

Full-time position available to evaluate requests and provide referrals to necessary services. Completes preadmission screenings for adults and/or children that have mental illness, developmental disability, serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring disorder requesting acute care services, to determine the most appropriate level of care. Conducts brief assessments. Provides crisis intervention and short-term counseling. Provides diagnostic evaluations, consultation to jail and local hospital, and education services as appropriate. Position is located in Standish.

Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or counseling with licensure appropriate to field of study (LMSW preferred), plus experience required in the following: assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic approaches. Must have knowledge of emotional disorders, mental illness, treatment techniques and medications. Ability to demonstrate cultural awareness of target population.

Salary: Salary range of $60,523 -- $73,725 dependent on status of credential and experience, plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!
