Insurance Servicing Representative

Description + Payrate: English $17; Spanish bilingual $18.50. Starting Date: September 29, 2025. For training, 30 days fully onsite. Training schedule is 9:30 AM EST to 6 PM EST. After training, Hybrid: 10:30 AM EST to 7 PM EST. Hybrid schedule is based on meeting adherence, quality, and attendance expectations. Worksite Location: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098, United States NO TIME OFF IN FIRST 6 WEEKS

Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling inbound calls about insurance servicing questions (will be handling about 35-45 inbound calls per day, depending on how long each call lasts).
• Will receive questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• The insurance questions will pertain to homeowner's insurance and will be from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• Majority of calls will be regarding payment and/or coverage questions.
• Problem-solving and problem resolution skills are required, as well as the ability to handle all calls professionally.

Must Have

• At least 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center experience is preferred, but will consider candidates with front desk/admin experience - not just retail or food service).
• Efficient in using a Windows PC computer and navigating their software system (super easy to learn).
• Typing: At least 35 WPM.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (will be on the phone all day and be required to follow up via email in some instances).
• Internet connection - will be required to train remote and work remote.
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Have

• 2+ years of call center experience
• Insurance or mortgage experience

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
