Insurance Customer Service Representative
We are hiring Insurance Customer Service Representatives at Troy, Michigan! Key responsibilities include:
- Handle 35–45 inbound calls daily (average call duration: 11–14 minutes)
- Address insurance servicing inquiries from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions
- Topics include homeowners insurance, payments, and coverage
- Navigate multiple systems to research and document calls
- Ensure accurate and timely responses that meet internal and external standards
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and resolution skills
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred, front desk/admin acceptable)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in using a Windows PC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable internet connection (for remote training/work)
- Reliable transportation
Nice to have qualifications:
- Experience in Insurance or Mortgage servicing
Job Details:
- Location: Troy, Michigan
- Tentative Start Date: September 29, 2025
- Work Set-up: On site but may transition into Hybrid depending on work performance!
- Schedule: 30 Day training - 9:30AM - 6:30PM Post Training shift: 10:30AM - 7:00PM
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Pay and Benefits:
- The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
