HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will handle approximately four service calls per day, interacting directly with customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various HVAC systems including furnaces, RTUs, air handlers, AC units, mini splits, and thermostats.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls to diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
• Interact with customers to understand issues and provide solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair furnaces, RTUs, air handlers, AC units, mini splits, and thermostats.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an HVAC service technician in residential, commercial, or both settings.
• EPA Certified.
• Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Possession of own tools and a clean driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years or more of experience is ideal.
• NATE Certification is a plus.
• Experience with refrigeration is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
