HVAC Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a HVAC Engineer to join their team. As a HVAC Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong maintenance expertise, and effective time management, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building operations.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate modifications or repairs.
• Follow established procedures to resolve straightforward issues with limited discretion.
• Support proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical systems.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• EPA 608 License or NFPA 70E certification preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Good verbal communication skills and basic work routine adherence.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
